A story that is yours

How memory works

Every character keeps a private record of your conversations and choices — this is your Chronicle, and it's unique to you.

The shared storyline (the Canon) is set by the creator and doesn't change — what changes is how the character treats you specifically.

Enable notifications in Settings → Notifications → idore to know when a character you've been building a relationship with has something new to say, or when a World you follow publishes a new chapter.

A few things you might wonder

Good questions.

How is this different from a regular chat app?

Isn't this just a chatbot with a different skin?

The main story is the same for everyone and never changes. But what a character remembers about you, and how she feels about you, is only yours — and it doesn't fade the way a chat history does.

How is my privacy and data protected?

Can other users see what a character remembers about me?

No. That memory belongs to you and that character alone. It sits apart from the shared storyline everyone sees, and no one else can read it.

Is this too real — where's the line?

Does it ever turn explicit or NSFW?

No. idore doesn't include explicit content. The focus stays on connection and storytelling, not anything explicit.

Is she supposed to replace real relationships?

No. This is a space for stories and companionship, not a stand-in for the people in your life or for professional support.
